It is lined with antimicrobial technology that inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold and mildew. There is also a molded hand guard to prevent accidental hand contact and to help eliminate cross-contamination. The antimicrobial treatment involves a silver ion-based layer and will last through the expected life of the product.
A line of environmentally friendly generators created by Cummins Power Generation Inc. is now available. The generators passed the Environmental Protection Agency’s Tier 4 emissions regulations rated at 10 kW, 15 kW, 20 kW and 25 kW. The generators come with a weather-protective or sound muffling, steel or aluminum enclosure. The product also features the PowerCommand 1.1 electronic control. The control is completely integrated with the system and includes features such as automatic remote start and stop.
Nixalite’s bird control strips are rows of spikes designed to keep birds and their droppings from facility signage, rooftops and ledges. Made from 316 stainless steel wire and strip, the physical barrier prevents birds from landing, nesting or roosting on all types of surfaces.

CBC Corp. announces the addition of five new colors to its Lintotesta line of vinyl flooring for light- and heavy-duty commercial environments. The stone-like resilient tile flooring is now available in 33 color selections. New additions include pearl gray, soft taupe, warm neutral beige, soft spruce green and tangerine. The 17.7-foot x 17.7-foot tiles are made from 50 percent post-industrial recycled content. Low-VOC emissions can contribute to LEED credits. Tiles are 0.12 inches thick.

Zephyr Lock’s new RFID electronic lock system offers programmable flexibility without the need for hardwiring, according to the company. The locks can be installed on most lockers or cabinets and are accessed with a four-digit code and an RFID card.
