GAF recently introduced WeatherCote Elastomeric Coating, a water-based acrylic roof coating that provides a durable, protective weathering layer for low-slope roofs. Applicable to both school and university facilities, WeatherCote Elastomeric Coating is highly reflective, directing heat and UV away from the building. With an 88 percent initial reflectivity, it reduces wear and tear on the membrane below as well as lowers the temperature inside the building, saving on energy costs during summer months.

OMG Roofing Products now offers its line of Tubos vent stack extenders with an OMG Red insert splice sleeve. A critical component of each Tubos unit is the integral 6-inch splice sleeve that is inserted into the existing vent stack, preventing water from infiltrating institution and commercial roofing systems. Often when re-roofing a commercial or institutional building, the additional insulation takes the existing vent stack out of compliance with the International Building Code, which specifies how tall vent stacks must be over the roof surface.

Each model offers an ultra-short-throw design that features an improved 10,000:1 contrast ratio for more vivid and realistic image quality and improved lamp life. The ultra-short-throw lens enables projection of images up to 100 inches diagonal and the space-friendly design lets it fit easily onto a tabletop.

FrontRow has released a new version of its Conductor digital communication system to handle campus-wide intercom, paging, control and emergency response using the school’s local area network (LAN). The new Conductor release expands on the platform’s digital advantage with new features, including easier paging and intercom via maps and custom images, server disaster recovery and automatic snapshots, email encryption and remote room control via any web browser.
