Lighting Science will soon offer Series A+ LEDs. Boasting a 97+ CRI, Series A+ LEDs perform brilliantly in any application demanding high color saturation, vivid definition or directional highlights. Series A+ features state-of-the-art color rendering that can be programmed to bring out specific colors in any setting. By using next-generation LEDs, the lamps deliver high color accuracy and efficiency, surpassing any current industry standards. The proprietary integrated power supply was designed to amplify dimming performance and compatibility.

DriTac Flooring Products introduced Supreme Green DriTac 7800, a single-component, 5-in-1 adhesive that offers unlimited subfloor moisture control with no testing required and a lifetime warranty. This premium green hybrid polymer wood flooring adhesive offers sound and moisture control, isolates old cutback adhesive, acts as a crack suppressant and includes a bond only option. Supreme Green is easy to clean off the surface of hardwood flooring wet or dry.

Nudo Products Inc., a national wall and ceiling manufacturer headquartered in Springfield, Ill., recently launched FiberScore FRP, a fiberglass panel that provides a superior visual appearance without the hassle associated with ceramic tile. Compared to traditional ceramic tile, FiberScore FRP panels install easily and at a minimal cost. Plus, the panels are resistant to staining, scratching, mold and mildew, and won’t crack or deteriorate like ceramic tile grout lines.

The FRP Door System by Curries is a fiberglass reinforced polyester door and aluminum frame system intended primarily for exterior openings such as schools, restaurants or any opening in high use and abuse areas. The door and frame are resistant to hurricane force winds and debris, and are perfect for anywhere a strong, lightweight opening is required to withstand abuse. The door is available in Fieldstone texture — which will never rust, crack or rot — in five colors: dark bronze, light gray, tan, red and white.

ESP Low-E Therma Sheet, an easy-to-install reflective insulation, offers an industry-leading thermal and moisture barrier. Therma Sheet has also earned ICC-ES certification — a critical designation that affirms that the product meets the code requirements of a stand-alone roofing underlayment. Previously, code required the installation of Therma Sheet over a layer of felt paper or other underlayment. Now, roofers can install high-performance Therma Sheet without any other underlayment, reducing labor and material costs.

Sloan, a leading manufacturer of commercial plumbing systems, has added a new Hybrid Retrofit Urinal to its collection of high-efficiency products that cut water use dramatically and make it easy to replace existing urinals — both traditional flushing and water-free styles. The new model, HYB-1000-RET, offers all the features of the Sloan Hybrid Urinal, including maximum LEED credits, minimal water and sewage costs, and automatic drain rinsing.

Canon USA Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, recently introduced the LX-MU800Z. The LX-MU800Z is the company’s first single-chip DLP projector with a laser phosphor light source that delivers at maximum brightness for 20,000 hours of virtually maintenance-free operation, reducing total cost of ownership. Key features on the LX-MU800Z projector include native WUXGA (1920 x 1200) resolution, up-to-8000 lumens, a dynamic contrast ratio up to 10,500:1, and seven interchangeable lens options with motorized lens shift for installation flexibility.

Chicago Faucets drinking fountains, designed for the education market, are low-lead compliant to meet stringent national and local laws for the reduction of lead in drinking water. All Chicago Faucets units feature chrome-plated, solid brass bodies and vandal-resistant volume controls. A variety of convenient, water-saving options are available, such as push handles with timed water dispensing and lever handles with an instant-off cartridge for maximum water savings. An antimicrobial, flexible plastic mouth guard, standard on some models, helps reduce the spread of diseases common in schools.

Hitachi America Ltd. Digital Media Division announced the release of four new models to the company’s high-end projector line: CP-X5505, CP-WX5505, CP-WU5500 and CP-WU5505. Using 3LCD technology, each was designed for medium- to large-venue applications and provides flexibility for ease of installation. The CP-X5505 delivers 5,500 lumens of brightness while the other models deliver 5,000 lumens of brightness. Resolutions available in this series cover WUXGA, WXGA and XGA.

SAF Metal Fabrication introduced a new item to its insulated panel product line: Factory-fabricated Insul M5000 Insulated Spandrel Pans incorporating mineral wool. Insulated Spandrel Pans are designed for energy savings in the opaque glazing areas of a building envelope. Mineral wool insulation in the spandrel pans can withstand temperatures above 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit, is moisture resistant, provides acoustical noise damping and qualifies for LEED green building credits.
