The VingCard Persona system uses an ID as a keycard that requires a PIN code. If a card is lost or stolen it cannot be used without the PIN code. Cards can be replaced without changing locks or issuing new keys.

It uses accompanying Windows-based software to convert the recorded data into time- and date-stamped graphs. According to the company, the logger can store up to 43,000 measurements and does not require hard wiring. It can be attached to most light fixtures.
