DuctSox introduces the Designer Series fabric option for HVAC systems, a patterned fabric duct collection for commercial buildings with exposed ductwork. The series features a UL-approved polyester-blend fabric with a built-in antimicrobial treatment to minimize mold and mildew.
The set can be hung with a suspension cable, H-track or a suspension system that displays perpetual duct inflation during idle air handling periods.

Lyon antimicrobial lockers are designed to fight bacterial and mold growth. They are finished in a powder coating from DuPont and Agion Antimicrobial that inhibits bacterial, mold and odor build-up on locker surfaces, as well as the touch transfer of microbes on locker handles and doors.
Moisture triggers the controlled release of silver ions to provide antimicrobial protection for the estimated 20-year lifecycle of the locker. The antimicrobial compound is organic and has been approved for medical devices and food contact use.
The KaiFly system from Kaivac Inc. combines microfiber, window squeegee and chemical injection technologies to remove harmful bio-pollutants from surfaces. Users spray diluted cleaning chemicals directly onto the microfiber pad, which allows for an even application on surfaces, and the squeegee simultaneously removes soils and dries the surface.
The system removes 80 times more bacteria than conventional methods, according to the manufacturer.
Zimek manufactures a room-sterilizing system that enables the complete sterilization of all interior air within a confined space and disinfects all surfaces wherever free air flows, according to the company. Inside each system is a micro-particle generator that converts a disinfectant solution into negatively charged ion particulates. The particulates attach to positively charged contaminants in a room and attack all surfaces.
The new Forte Full-Stage Acoustical Shell from Wenger Corp. improves onstage communication between performers and sound projection to audiences. Designed for small- to medium-sized performance venues, the side and rear towers combine with ceiling panels to reflect and diffuse sound.
All panels feature 1 percent honeycomb core construction and are available in several colors and laminate finishes. The shell’s towers can be arranged to suit different ensembles and venues, and nest together when not in use. Built-in, non-marring casters feature locks for stability.
